The Luxurious Marble Circus is returning to Muldersdrift for its third edition, bringing two days of music, food, fashion and immersive entertainment to Ground The Venue on 26 and 27 September 2026. Following two sold-out editions, the South African lifestyle festival is expanding its offering under this year’s theme, Evophoria. The concept combines evolution and euphoria, capturing the sense of transformation that organisers hope guests will experience across the weekend.
Created by The Marble Group, G&G The Goosebumps Company and Grid Worldwide, together with title partner Investec, the festival blends the energy of an outdoor music event with fine dining, theatrical performances and interactive brand experiences.
Lost Frequencies and Shimza Lead the Line-Up
The weekend’s soundtrack will move between dance music, Afro-house, Afro-tech, soulful house and amapiano. Saturday’s programme will have a commercial and dance-focused feel, led by Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies and South African house music heavyweight Shimza. Australian performer Sxncello, Abby Nurock, DBN Gogo and several local favourites are also scheduled to perform.

Sunday shifts towards deeper South African sounds. Shimza returns alongside DJ Kent, Chronical Deep, Scorpion Kings, Dlala Thukzin and Dwson, among others. The main stage will combine live performances with lighting, projection and theatrical production designed to make the experience feel like more than a conventional music festival.
Food Takes Centre Stage
Food remains one of the biggest reasons to attend the Luxurious Marble Circus. Chef David Higgs and The Marble Group have developed menus to complement the atmosphere of each festival area. Pantry’s Playground in the Field will offer more stalls and a wider selection of casual dishes, pastries and festival-friendly food.

Guests with access to The Grand Dining Room and Royal Lounge can expect a more refined experience inspired by Marble and Saint. Food from Pantry will also be available to order inside the lounges, while two walk-up areas will serve canapés and finger foods throughout the evening. New for 2026 is the Imperial Terrace, a double-storey space inspired by Zioux. It will serve Asian-inspired dishes and cocktails while offering elevated views of the main stage.
Dress Up and Embrace the Spectacle
The Luxurious Marble Circus has always encouraged guests to treat fashion as part of the entertainment. This year’s theme invites festivalgoers to dress as the most expressive version of themselves. An all-new festival shop called The Emporium will offer another opportunity to lean into the weekend’s fashion and fantasy, while performers and costumed characters will move throughout the venue.

“Luxurious Marble Circus has always been designed to transport people into something out of the ordinary, but this year we wanted to give that feeling a name,” says Nathan Reddy, founder and chairman of Grid Worldwide. “Evophoria captures the metamorphosis that happens when flavour, atmosphere, music, joy and people come together in a way that feels almost impossible to describe.”
A Festival With a Wider Purpose
Through its LMC Legacy programme, the festival will continue supporting initiatives connected to food, fashion, creativity and sustainability. Selected beneficiaries will also be incorporated into the festival experience. Now entering its third year, the Luxurious Marble Circus is shaping up to be one of Johannesburg’s standout lifestyle events of 2026. The Luxurious Marble Circus takes place at Ground The Venue in Muldersdrift on 26 and 27 September 2026. Tickets are available through Howler.
