With the event coming up this weekend, The Luxurious Marble Circus and South African denim house TSHEPO are inviting fashion lovers into a world where imagination meets heritage. Their new collaboration, The Kingmaster Collection, fuses artistry, craftsmanship, and purpose to create a line that’s as playful as it is meaningful.
A Legacy Collaboration
As a Legacy and merchandise partner, TSHEPO has joined forces with The Luxurious Marble Circus to craft a collection that blends fashion with storytelling. The result? Pieces that let wearers express themselves fully. Meanwhile, they embrace the thoughtful purpose behind each design.

At the heart of the collaboration is The Kingmaster, a character who embodies both brands’ spirits. Part of TSHEPO’s “King of Denim,” crowned in heritage, and part of The Luxurious Marble Circus’s surreal Ringmaster, The Kingmaster guides wearers through a world where artistry, identity, and imagination reign supreme.
Characters and Symbols
The collection also introduces a cast of symbolic archetypes, including the Leopard, representing power and agility. Additionally, it includes circus-inspired shapes that celebrate whimsy, theatre, and magic. “The Kingmaster is not just a figure; it is a reflection of the wearer,” says Tshepo Mohlala, founder of TSHEPO.
“Our designs embody the Crowntortionist: someone who bends tradition, stretches imagination, and wears their crown in their own way, while still remembering their roots.”
Ready-to-Wear Meets Couture

The Kingmaster collection spans ready-to-wear and couture ranges. Everyday pieces bring effortless playfulness to self-expression. Meanwhile, the couture Atelier range, designed by emerging talent Naledi Dlamini, celebrates handmade artistry and legacy. It gives young designers the platform to shine.

A Festival of Fashion, Wonder and Purpose
Festival-goers will discover the collection at The Emporium, a boutique filled with exclusive apparel, accessories, and sustainable treasures from Legacy partner Sealand. Leading up to the weekend, pieces can also be purchased at TSHEPO stores (Hyde Park and Sandton City). They are also available online at www.tshepo.shop.
Greg Walsh, owner of G&G – The Goosebumps Company, explains:
“The festival owes its magic to our glorious guests and how they show up. This year, we’re inspired by the unique style and spirit of attendees, embracing the fashionable characters they become and introducing another unexpected element into our world of wonder.”
