These intoxicating cocktails, mixed by Manuel Soro at Aqua Shard in London, are infused with ingredients to bolster your memory, alleviate sickness and take care of the morning after—all by themselves.

The Dark & Not-So-Stormy

A warming twist on the Manhattan, this turns post-work cocktails into an adventure—but a healthy one. “It contains spice bitters, which help boost cognitive function and memory while strengthening your immune system,” says Soro. You’ll be charming and lucid all evening—and even recall it the next day.


40ml Bourbon

20ml Sweet Vermouth

20ml Orange Juice

1tsp Five Spice Bitters

How: Shake and strain

Glass: Martini

Garnish: Cherry, Orange Twist

The Shaken & Restored

Fruity and spicy, this head-spinner will impress a date. The coriander makes it a wingman, working as an aphrodisiac. And don’t worry about a hangover. “Ginger is an antidote for sickness and is prescribed to help cure a fever,” says Soro.


50ml Vodka

40ml Apple Juice

½ Lemon, juiced

25ml Pear Purée

25ml Elderflower Cordial

1 slice Ginger

2 tips Coriander

How: Muddle, shake and strain
