South African padel fans are set to witness the sport at its highest level. This will happen when the Premier Padel Tour arrives in Pretoria for the country’s first Premier Padel P1 tournament.
The event will feature several of the world’s leading international players. Many of them will be competing in South Africa for the first time. It represents a significant milestone for a sport that has grown rapidly across the country in recent years.
Padel’s South African Rise
Padel was considered a niche sport in South Africa only a few years ago. Since then, new courts and clubs have opened around the country. Meanwhile, social leagues have helped introduce more players to the game. Therefore, the Premier Padel Pretoria P1 is expected to build on that momentum by giving local supporters their first opportunity to watch professional padel on home soil.

Heineken is supporting the tournament through the Heineken Silver Courtside Club, a hospitality area offering fans prime views of the court and a space to connect while watching the matches. Attendees will also have access to Heineken Silver and the alcohol-free Heineken 0.0 during the event.
