This captivating six-part series, released just as the track and field races commence on August 2nd, celebrates the dedication, perseverance, and triumphs of athletes striving for Olympic glory.

As Team South Africa competes in the 2024 Summer Olympics, “Road to Paris” highlights a diverse group of athletes, each with a unique story that embodies the relentless pursuit of excellence. The docuseries aims to inspire viewers by showcasing these athletes’ personal sacrifices and unwavering determination as they chase their dreams on the world’s biggest stage.

Akani Simbine (Age 30)
