36 countries later and now, finally, South Africa welcomes its very own Topman store.
Having opened their first South African flagship store in Sandton City, Johannesburg on the 15th November 2012, a second store is planned to opened in Gateway, Durban in December 2012, with plans for a 3rd store in Cape Town around March.
The South African stores will be directly aligned with their UK counterpart in terms of merchandise and trend offering.
Gordon Richardson, Creative Director for Topman says, “We want to offer our full Topman retail experience to the fashion conscious males in South Africa.”
He adds the Topman guy is modern, youthful and wants to look good in every situation.
Our fashion editor, Azeez Jacobs, was positively beaming after the launch event, where he spotted the likes of Jo-Anne Strauss and MH cover winner 2011Greg Hammond, and told us that the evening was packed with energy and style.
