Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for people who want their smartwatch to keep up with demanding workouts and outdoor adventures. It combines a bright display, dedicated trail-running tools and dive tracking with health and recovery insights for everyday use.
A Brighter Screen for the Outdoors
The 47 mm watch has a display with up to 5,000 nits of brightness, designed to make workout stats easier to read in strong sunlight. Its Trail Run mode can track details such as elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact, while hydration guidance can help runners keep an eye on fluid needs during a session.
Built for Dives and Long Days Outside
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 has an 800 mAh battery, a titanium case and IP69K and 10 ATM ratings. It is also certified to EN 13319, a standard for diving instruments. When used for diving, the watch can track depth, elapsed time and water temperature. Samsung says the watch is designed to support underwater activities down to 130 feet.

Health Insights Beyond Your Workout
The watch’s BioActive sensor collects biometric data to support Samsung Health features for sleep, fitness and recovery. These include Vitals, which checks a user’s health baseline during sleep, and Heart Health Score, which offers a snapshot of cardiovascular wellness. Daily Cardio Load and Fitness Index provide further information to help users understand training demands and set fitness goals.
These tools are intended to offer health and wellness insights. Feature access and requirements can vary by device, region and Samsung Health setup.
Bands and Training Offers
Samsung offers a selection of bands for different activities and settings, including options intended for outdoor use and diving. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 also comes with a 60-day Strava trial and a two-month iFIT trial. Users can activate the offers through the Strava or Samsung Health mobile apps, subject to the relevant terms. (Trial details supplied by Samsung.)
