H&M Atelier takes style to sunlit horizons with a new collection inspired by coastal living. Designed for those who value effortless refinement, the line blends simple, essential shapes with fluid construction and a soft summer-inspired palette. This is a wardrobe built for spontaneity and personal expression.
Freedom Meets Function
According to Ana Hernández, H&M Atelier Design Lead, “H&M Atelier SS 2026 captures the freedom of an active outdoor life. These are pieces that move with you, whether you are by the coast or exploring arid landscapes. We focused on that sun-faded, lived-in quality where technical performance meets tactile, natural materials. It is refined but never rigid.”

Pieces That Layer with Ease
The collection reads like a well-curated travel edit. Pocket-front shirts, Henley tees, and sleeveless knits form the foundation, layered under relaxed blazers and airy windbreakers.

Cargo trousers, Bermuda shorts cut below the knee, and pleated pants that pool at the ankle define the season’s elongated, laid-back silhouette. Generous proportions allow untucked shirttails to emerge from beneath technical outerwear and knitwear, achieving a casual, artful ease.
Soft Fabrics with a Sun-Bleached Palette
Fabric choices highlight contrasts underlined by softness. Rustic and tactile yarns, soft cottons, and suede sit alongside practical technical fabrics. Each piece carries a lived-in character, complemented by a sun-bleached colour palette inspired by Provence, including Marseille and its surrounding arid landscapes. Dusty earth tones, faded mint, and washed denim create a look that is both stylish and comfortable.
