H&M and GIVĒON Launch REDSTAGE to Spotlight Emerging Artists

by | Mar 12, 2026 | Style

Fashion and music have long moved together. From stage outfits that define eras to artists who shape global style trends, the relationship between what we wear and what we listen to has always been deeply connected. Now, H&M is leaning further into that cultural overlap with a new music initiative called REDSTAGE.

The project brings established artists together with rising musicians to reinterpret major tracks through their own creative lens. The result is a collaboration that explores how style, identity and sound intersect in modern music culture.

GIVĒON Leads the First Redstage Project

For the first edition of REDSTAGE, eight-time Grammy-nominated R&B artist GIVĒON takes the lead. Known for his unmistakably deep voice and emotionally rich songwriting, the singer worked closely with H&M to shape the creative direction of the launch.

As part of the project, he invited two emerging artists to reinterpret some of his most popular tracks. The goal was to give them the space to bring their own identities and musical influences into songs that fans already know.

Rising Artists Reinterpret Fan Favourites

Australian experimental vocalist Dhee delivers a new rendition of GIVĒON’s breakout single “Like I Want You”. Her version blends alternative sounds with influences from South Asian music, creating a fresh take on the original track.

London-born singer Absolutely reimagines “Heartbreak Anniversary”, one of GIVĒON’s most recognisable songs. Known for blending multiple genres and a powerful vocal range, she adds her own interpretation to the emotional ballad.

Alongside these reinterpretations, GIVĒON will also release newly recorded versions of his songs “Rather Be” and “Twenties”, further grounding the project in his artistic vision.

A Creative Space for Identity and Expression

According to H&M, the REDSTAGE platform is designed to highlight how creative expression spans both music and fashion. The brand sees the initiative as a way to support emerging talent while exploring how artists shape identity through both sound and personal style. For GIVĒON, the collaboration offered a chance to see his music from a new perspective.

“Seeing my work through their eyes was beautiful, surprising and enriching,” he said. “It made me fall in love with my songs all over again.” Both Dhee and Absolutely also described the project as an opportunity to explore artistic identity through reinterpretation.

The first REDSTAGE recordings featuring GIVĒON, Dhee and Absolutely will be released on Spotify and Apple Music on 13 March.
