Zlatan Ibrahimović has never been one to follow. From his commanding presence on the pitch to his intense training style, he’s spent a career defying convention. Now, he’s bringing that same energy to his latest project: a performance-led training collection with H&M Move, launching 10 July.
Co-created with the brand’s design team, the ‘Selected by Zlatan’ drop channels everything the footballer stands for: discipline, legacy and unapologetic confidence. The result? Gear that looks sharp and performs under pressure, whether you’re pushing reps in the gym or training with intent outdoors.
Movement Changed His Life
“H&M Move is the right fit because we share the same mission – getting the world moving,” says Zlatan. “I know what it’s like to grow up feeling excluded from sport, judged before you get the chance to prove yourself. Movement changed my life, 100%.”

The collaboration reflects that ethos. It’s not about exclusivity or elite status. It’s about building strength from the inside out and making quality kit accessible to anyone who wants to move with purpose.
Roman Empire Energy
Visually, the collection taps into something bigger than trends: the enduring power of the Roman Empire. With washed mineral tones, marble textures and imperial-style fonts, it’s designed to make a statement.

“The Roman Empire is about power, discipline and legacy, qualities I’ve lived by my entire career,” Zlatan explains. “Just like the Romans, I train with purpose and with the belief that greatness comes from consistency and endurance.”
Performance-First Design
The pieces combine form and function, from sculpted seamless tops with reflective details to double-layered shorts with stretch and breathability. The core palette includes deep ocean blue, stone grey and marble white, accented with reflective silver graphics. For Zlatan, the deep blue gear stands out: “It gives power and the fit feels made for movement. I’m very proud of the result.”

The collection also includes accessories like a marble-print cap, branded sports socks and a sleek black shaker bottle, ideal for those who care about detail even off the training floor.
What Athletes Get Wrong
Zlatan’s view on training gear? Most people overthink it.

“Many athletes believe training gear needs to be expensive to work. But they often overlook the importance of comfort, fit and versatility, regardless of the price tag,” he says. “That’s why working with H&M Move was important to me.”
Training After Football
While his professional career is behind him, Zlatan’s mindset remains the same. “Strength isn’t just about how much I can lift or how fast I can run, it’s about resilience, focus and knowing who you are,” he says. “What’s kept me going isn’t just physical power, it’s the belief in myself.” These days, he finds purpose in training, fatherhood and pushing new projects forward. “It’s not the same as playing, but it’s on a different level. Once I accepted that my active career was over, I found peace with it.”
