CJ Stander’s Workout Routine
CJ’s dedication to fitness is evident in his rigorous training schedule. He trains six days a week, reserving just one day for rest. His workouts incorporate a blend of strength and cardio exercises. He credits his wife, Jean-Marie, as a significant source of inspiration for his cardio regimen.
His typical workout consists of four rounds, each comprising six exercises, with a three-minute rest interval between sets:
- Push Ups – 12/15 reps
- Plank Hold – 45 seconds
- Side Plank Hold – 45 seconds (left and right)
- Tricep Dips using a bed or chair – 15 reps
- Squats – 20 reps
- Ab Flutter Kicks – 30 reps on each leg to finish off the round
Additionally, he participates in gym classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Setting the tone for his busy days at The Belmont. On Tuesdays, he embarks on a 6-8 km jog, with an intensified pace in the final 2 km. Thursdays are reserved for a hill run, often with his wife, where he playfully jests that he merely tries to keep up with her.
