After drawing thousands of runners to the streets of Gqeberha and Cape Town, South Africa’s most dynamic road running series is heading to KwaZulu-Natal for its third stop of the year. The 8th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K hits the Durban beachfront on Sunday, 13 July 2025, promising fast times, good vibes and an unbeatable mix of competition and celebration.

Set along a scenic, flat 10km course, the race brings together elite athletes and everyday runners for a high-energy showcase of speed, spirit and local pride. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or showing up for the city, Durban delivers a uniquely electric atmosphere that’s part race, part festival.

Durban’s rich culture will be on full display throughout the route, with live entertainment stations, traditional dancers, drummers and DJs bringing the heat.

New Activations Amp Up the Experience
PUMA South Africa is adding fuel to the fire with its new PUMA GO WILD activation – part of the brand’s “runner’s high” campaign – which debuted in Gqeberha and Cape Town earlier this year. Expect hype stations, content zones and plenty of selfie-worthy moments.
