1. Swellendam Trail Goedgeloof hut to Protea Valley

2. Otter Trail Scott Hut to Oakhurst
A natural tea-black plunge pool hangs on a cliff edge of a forest high above the breakers – one of the best “pools with a view”. The Otter Trail is 45kms and takes 5 days to complete and it’s one of the most sought-after trails in South Africa.

3. Amatola Trail Mnyamnei to Zingcuka
You encounter a series of forest-enclosed waterfalls and pools, one after the other, each one better than the previous.

5. Garden Route Hike
Head to Gericke’s Point, near Sedgefield Huge, with its wide untouched beach, protected pool to swim in and dolphins just beyond the rocks.
