ISUZU Motors South Africa has proudly unveiled the latest addition to its esteemed lineup, the all-new D-MAX X-RIDER. This remarkable release marks the evolution of the beloved X-RIDER series, which has captured the hearts of South African customers since its debut in 2016.

Built upon the foundation of the cutting-edge seventh-generation D-MAX range, meticulously crafted at ISUZU’s Struandale plant in Gqeberha, the all-new X-RIDER epitomises the essence of distinction, boasting a bold design and exclusive features that have made it a revered choice among pickup enthusiasts across South Africa.

Initially introduced as a limited-edition special-value model in 2016, the X-RIDER swiftly garnered widespread acclaim. Kevin Fouche, Department Executive: Product Planning and Programme Management at ISUZU Motors South Africa, expressed, “The X-RIDER will undoubtedly capture attention, yet our priority remains to provide value to our customers. The new X-RIDER is based on the mid-range 1.9 Ddi LS models, offering a selection of manual and automatic transmissions in 4×2 form, along with a 4×4 automatic variant tailored for adventurous souls venturing off the beaten path.”

The allure of the D-MAX X-RIDER is immediately evident in its assertive exterior design. A sleek black gloss grille, adorned with striking red ‘ISUZU’ lettering, sets a commanding tone, complemented by X-RIDER badges embellishing the front doors and tailgate, underscoring its exclusive status. LED headlamps, fog lamps, and taillamps not only elevate the visual appeal but also ensure optimal visibility, day or night.

Further accentuating its dynamic presence are sleek black accents adorning door handles, B-pillars, side-mirror covers, and the curved sports bar behind the cab. Equipped with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a standard towbar boasting a 2.1-ton tow rating, the X-RIDER is primed to tackle any task with flair.

Luxurious Interior

Subtle red accents throughout, including red stitching on leather seats and door trims, evoke a sporty yet refined ambience. The prominent ‘X’ logo, featured on headrests and the dashboard, adds an air of exclusivity, while dark interior surfaces and X-RIDER floor mats complete the premium aesthetic.
